Project description

The brief for this project was to increase space both upstairs and downstairs to accommodate a growing family and make the kitchen the centre of the home suitable for socialising as well as cooking.

A double storey extension was designed to increase the size of the kitchen downstairs and create 2 new bedrooms and family bathroom upstairs. The downstairs area was reconfigured to open up the ground floor and create a large central room. The kitchen incorporated a large, bespoke walnut island. Large doors were added to provide light and direct access to the garden. A separate utility room was created which included a downstairs toilet and floor to ceiling storage for shoes.
