Project description

This client wanted to convert a stone barn to a playroom on ground floor and a music / TV room on the upper floor. The playroom was designed with doors opening out onto a new courtyard enclosure safe for the children to play in. 
 
The house is in a conservation area and the Conservation Officer was keen to keep a visual separation of barn and house so the barn was linked to the house by a glazed extension which serves as a utility room.
