Rear extension

Project description

This client wanted to add a rear extension to their Victorian detached house. They wanted a contemporary extension that would link up the living and kitchen to create a large informal space. The client also wanted to incorporate the garden into the design and merge the line between the garden and the house.
 
The result was a striking extension that incrporated a large window to provide a picture view of the garden. Double doors were added to the side of the extension allowing access to the garden without interrupting the view of the garden.
