Project description

This client lived in a converted flat in a Victorian house. They had a tiny kitchen with a false ceiling which was seperated from the living room by a partition wall. The client wanted to create a more spacious feel and incorporate the balcony to bring in more light.

The architect made subtle changes which had a significant impact on the look and feel of the flat. As part of the project the partition wall was removed, original coving was exposed, french windows restored, ugly pipes were boxed in and a new kitchen was installed.

The results of the project combined the two spaces and displayed all of the best features of this Victorian flat.
