Project description
Having been built in 1898 this house had retained many traditional features as well as a few quirky add on’s. The client wanted to reconfigure this space to produce a light open living and entertaining area with a modern functional kitchen, all leading into their wonderful garden.
The renovation transformed the whole back of the house, including levelling the ground, changing the flat roof to high pitch ceiling, incorporating sky lights and bi-fold glass doors to bring the outside in as well as designing a wonderfully modern and light functional spacious kitchen. The end result was a home perfect for dinner parties and family gatherings. The large, light, airy space succeeded in bringing the outside in, making cooking a delight and socialising easy.
